Javier Tebas has been President of LaLiga since 2013 and has been re-elected several times, consolidating his role as one of the most influential voices in European football governance.

A Law graduate from the University of Zaragoza, Javier Tebas has practised as a lawyer since 1987 and founded his own firm specialising in Corporate Law, Sports and Bankruptcy Law, advising numerous professional clubs.

His direct involvement in football dates back to 1993, when he became president of SD Huesca, later holding executive positions at CD Badajoz and CD Toledo before being appointed vice president of LaLiga in 2001.
